Go bowling with your family! Cosmic bowling that is. We started off the New Year’s Eve day by cooking and baking our meal–nothing but appetizers! You would think as much food as I cooked that I was expecting company After all was said and done, I had a mountain of food prepared for us to snack on all evening long!
I made chocolate pie tartlets (my very own recipe!), BBQ Chicken Sliders, Baked Cream Cheese, Handheld Chicken Nachos, Fried Mozarella Bites, Pizza bites, Homemade salsa, and Cashew Candy Crunch–and all of these recipes will be posted this week for you to enjoy!
After Kayla and I finished baking all these yummy goodies, we waited for Stephen to get home so we could all dig in! We all ate and got our bellies full and then it was GAME TIME!
Pictionary is always our game of choice. We LOVE this game–hands down. It was boys versus girls!
We were behind for a while (the girls), but then we caught up with the guys and just knew we were going to overtake them!
Those boys rocked right on to the finish line and STOMPED us in Pictionary!
After playing at home, we headed to our favorite Cosmic bowling spot to do some bowling!
I was on a roll for a while! I was hitting spares and then got two strikes in a row! GO ME!
But of course, the real winner of the night was my son, who bowled 4 STRIKES IN A ROW! Yes I typed that right 4 strikes.
Once again, the girls lose. Oh well! It was a fun night for all.
After finishing our bowling, we headed home–everyone exhausted from our fun evening. We all settled in around 11:30pm waiting for the ball to drop!
So how did you ring in the New Year?
