- ½ cup of popcorn
- Canola oil
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 – 3 tbsp homemade bbq seasoning
- Salt (optional)
- In a medium sauce pan, place 1 tbsp. canola oil and ½ cup of popcorn. Place lid on and shake over medium high heat for 5 – 15 minutes (depends on stove type, remove from heat after a 3 second delay in pops).
- Once popcorn is done pour melted butter, spice blend and salt on the popcorn and shake well.
I made my own homemade BBQ seasoning mix that I use for all sorts of things — homemade chips, dry rubs for ribs, and now for this yummy popcorn!
