I love to be organized. Nothing makes me feel more put together than having my day laid out for me so that I can see everything at a glance. I was recently introduced to a product that I have found that helps me to be even more organized than I already am. That product is the Homemaker’s Friend Daily Planner.
I was really impressed with the Homemaker’s Friend Daily Planners. Each planner is laid out with sections that are extremely useful to the every day woman.
The calendar includes sections such as:
- Mini Calendar
- Dates to Remember
- Task Lists
- Perforated Shopping Lists
- Inside pockets
- Month at a glance calendars
- Uplifting quotes to give you purpose
- and more
This planner recognizes that and makes it easy for me to get and stay organized, not just with my children’s activities, but with the rest of my life, as well. It includes a monthly calendar so that I can put the big items in there that I need to remember. Then there are pages for each week that allow me to organize the daily tasks that can so easily be forgotten.
Having that task list on the same page as my calendar helps me prioritize where I can fit in those tasks I need to accomplish, from the simple ones like making a dentist appointment to the more complex ones like scheduling work appointments for myself or my husband.
I love that each page has a place to jot down the menu for that day. While I am working on recording all the things we need to do for the week, I can quickly write down the kind of meals I want to serve as well.
Along the same lines, the planner includes tear out shopping lists (smart) that are narrow so they don’t waste paper, as three fit on a single sheet within the planner and all are perforated to make it easy to remove them. This goes great with this planner, because as you finish writing out your menu for the week, you can make out shopping list as well.
If you don’t need your list right away, simply place it in one of the pocket folders for later use.
This planner runs from January to December of 2014. It is 6 by 8 1/2 inches, perfect to fit into my purse. It’s spiral bound, making it easy to flip pages without damaging a spine, and laminated so it doesn’t fall apart easily. With your purchase of the 2014 calendar for $13.99, you also get a bonus 2013 calendar for free that contains the same information so you can start off on your organization immediately.
