I was sent freebie coupons from BzzAgent so that I could try out the delicious and easy Kroger Skillet Meals. No other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% my own.
There are some nights in my home when the thought of dinner will just send me over the edge. On those days, my writing deadlines have been crazy, social media has wracked my brain, and homeschooling my daughter might have not been the best in the world. Dinner is the furthest thing from my mind.
Has anyone else been there?
However, there is a way to get a delicious dinner on the table in less than 15 minutes and it is all thanks to the delicious Kroger Skillet Meals and the easy prep items they have there.
When I was first introduced to the Kroger Skillet Meal line, I was kind of skeptical — really? A delicious dinner meal to feed my family in 10 minutes? This I had to see. So I headed to Kroger to pick up one and grab a loaf of garlic bread and a quick salad kit.
That’s the thing I love about Kroger. Many times, you can find an amazing bargain on just about anything. This entire meal only cost me $10 🙂 This mom is doing the happy dance!
The meals run about $6-$8 but will feed 3-4 people. We broke the cost down and found out that with the garlic bread and salad added that each plate of food ran about $2.50. No fast food joint in the world can touch that 🙂
The meal was delicious and the salad kit was amazing. Everything I needed was right in the package and made it super easy to throw together a quick salad to go with our meal.
When I served this to my family, their exact words were — “WOW! You made this in only 10 minutes?” To which I replied — “YES!”
I am definitely keeping some of these kits on hand for those hectic writing days – the ones where I need to feed my family a yummy meal but don’t have a lot of time to prepare something.
What about you? Have you ever eaten a Kroger Skillet Meal? Which is your favorite?
