Mittens and Tucker are a curious pair. They are constantly getting into things. For one — Tucker loves to sneak into Mittens room and eat her cat food. We have bee using just a baby gate to try and keep him out, but it was breaking and he could manuever his way around it. We knew it was time to try out something pet related that would keep him out, so we turned to Richell USA and their sturdy pet gates to help us out.
This gate is recommended for dogs between about 6 and 33 pounds. What I love about the gate is that you can configure it in different ways. The side panels of the gate lock into place, so you can easily adjust it to fit into different parts of your home.
We used this gate recently when we did some pet sitting for a friend. Right now, the gate stays in front of my daughter’s door to keep Tucker out, but when we have company over and we want to keep all the animals out of the bedroom area, we simply move it right to the beginning of the hallway and it works perfectly.
Another thing I love about this gate, is the swinging open and close portion of it. The other baby gate that we had, I had to cnstantly climb over it to get into my daughter’s room when I was putting away laundry. Now, I can just open and close the door without any issues.
This is a VERY nice gate. It is made of eco-friendly, sustainable rubberwood, and is a great color. The feet have rubber feet to help protect your floors, and add stability to the gate.
This pet product was definitely one that we needed but did not realize it until after we got it and set it up. I cannot imagine not having one now that we have it installed. It has come in handy for keeping Tucker out of MANY things!
