With the big game right around the corner, I have been looking for all kinds of delicious and healthier snacks to feed my sports loving friends and family members. My favorite way to do this is pair up a little bit of store bought with some homemade flare thrown in. That is how I discovered these three easy dips that I serve alongside my quick and easy game day snacks.
While I was out shopping at WalMart the other day doing my regular grocery shopping, I came upon the Alexia Spicy Sweet Potato Fries, Alexia Onion Rings, and Alexia Smart Classics Crinkle Cut Fries. Right in the freezer section is where you can find them. I stood there for a few minutes staring at them, and then 3 delicious dips popped in my head that I could make and serve with these on game day!
I knew that all my guests would love the taste of the spicy sweet potato fries, and I had my heart set on those delicious looking onion rings.
My daughter and I got in the kitchen and came up with 3 amazing sauces that will be sure to please any of your guests.
Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce
For this super easy dip, you just mix 1/2 cup of Ranch dressing, with 1/4 cup of Chipotle in Adobo Sauce, with just a sprinkling of black pepper for a yummy spicy kick.
We are serving those with the Alexia Classics Crinkle Cut French Fries. Each serving is 98% fat free, and only 100 calories which makes it a great healthier option instead of greasy potato chips.
They are roasted in the oven and then hit with a touch of sea salt for the perfect classic french fry flavor — but without the guilt!
Sweet Heat Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
For the sweet heat Honey Mustard Dip, we used honey mustard and paired it with Siracha Sauce for that sweet taste of honey and the heat of the Siracha. We served this dip with the Alexia Onion rings which has a crispy coating thanks to the Panko Bread Crumbs, and they are baked which means no extra fat from any oil.
We took about 1/2 cup of honey mustard with 2 teaspoons of Siracha hot sauce and mixed them together to serve with our delicious Alexia Onion Rings. It made a great combo of flavors.
The Ultimate Fry Sauce
Our favorite sauce that we made was the Ultimate Fry Sauce which we are pairing with the Spicy Sweet Potato Fries. You simply mix equal parts Ketchup and Mayo, then add in 2 teaspoons of seasoned salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
I love that these are non GMO certified and it is DELICIOUS!
I love that Alexia offers me great options that are not only better for me, but have such great flavor and superior quality above all the rest.
