From the time she was about 5 years old, she fell in love with a web slinging superhero and never looked back. She was so passionate about each and every one of them. As her mother, I did not have the heart to tell her she should be playing with dolls. Instead, I let her play with her brother’s super hero action figures, and from that time on she has never picked up another doll.
You would think in all that time that her love for those superheroes would wear off. She is now 17 and her passion and love of them has gotten even stronger. So strong in fact, she wants to go to an art school to draw comics.
Yes — she loves to draw super heroes.
In her spare time, she sits and draws on her walls, her closet doors, on canvases, in an art book. She loves to draw them. They make her heart happy, and who am I to deny her that happiness right?
She hangs out with her best friend and when we all go to Walmart, they make a bee line over to the toy section (yes even at 17) to see what new products are out.
Her birthday just passed and instead of getting something at that moment, she decided to wait until May when we could take her to see the movie. Our tickets are already bought and we will be in line with a ton of other people for the opening night of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Of course, we will be passing the time while we wait, playing the new Avengers game available on the Walmart.com website.
Walmart has some exciting MARVEL The Avengers products all throughout the store, as well as a really neat app that is free (you can find it available for iOS and Android devices) It’s called Super Heroes Assemble.
All throughout the store, you can find branded merchandise that includes products from food, apparel, toys and more which feature The Avengers characters and while you’re shopping at the store you can scan the signs and some of the products with your camera and the app to unlock action-packed content within it.
You can find photo opps which will allow you to take pictures with the Avengers, you can watch the latest teasers from the movie, and you can create a wish list of all kinds of movie merchandise and toys you want.
This app is perfect for my super hero loving daughter.
While shopping at Walmart, you can find all kinds of participating brands with the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. We are huge Dr. Pepper and Dorito fans around here, so when we saw the displays with both, of course, my daughter had to have them.
Go ahead and download the app and head over to Walmart to unlock all the fun content.
Your kids will enjoy shopping with you if they can scan the signs and products and check out all the features in the app. I know my daughter enjoys it. She says if you don’t download it, you’ll make her angry.
