The other day my daughter made mention that she wanted to learn how to grill. You do not know how happy that made this mom! Part of our favorite summertime activities is throwing food on the grill — all kinds of food – pineapples, burgers, watermelon, veggies, and our favorite — Hebrew National All Beef Kosher Hot Dogs.
I picked these hot dogs up during my grocery shopping the other day at Kroger. I love the Hebrew National Brand because it is a hot dog brand that you can trust.
They were right in the refrigerated section where all the hot dogs were together.
Teaching her to grill was pretty easy. We have a gas grill, so getting it started and showing her how to do it just took the click of a button.
Then — she was on her own from that point making her some “burnt hot dogs” as she calls them. We like our all beef hot dogs charred as much as we can.
She done a great job cooking them. She watched those dogs cook like a baby. While they were cooking, she decided to check out the packaging and found out that these particular hot dogs are 100% kosher and gluten free.
Once they finished cooking, she pulled them off the grill.
We season our hot dogs with lemon and pepper. It just give it a flavor pop when cooking.
After cooking these, I decided to make up a quick and easy Pickle Relish to go on top. I had made some homemade crunch pickles the other day (which were SO amazing), that I decided to use those to create this delicious relish.
So all you need to do, is simply take a few of the pickles and lay them out on a cutting board.
Then just dice them up real fine. If you want it more like a salsa consistency, simply pulse it in the mini food processor a few times.
So — just dice those pickles right on up!
Then top your hot dog with some mustard if you want, and this Quick and Easy Relish. You can make this using any pickle from the store, or you can make your own pickles — it is totally up to you.
Once you finish, sit down and enjoy your Hebrew National All Beef 100% Kosher Hot Dog.
Did you know that this summer you can save $2 on Hebrew National Hotdogs at Kroger and Kroger banner stores??? What a savings!!!
Now that you know how I like my hot dogs, what’s your favorite way to prepare Hebrew National hot dogs?
