One thing I am learning to do this year is to decorate my home a little better than I have in the past. Seriously — I am like THE worst when it comes to decorating. When I visit friends and I see how beautiful their homes are decorated, I get a little jealous because I was just never given that gift.
Recently though, I prayed and asked God to show me how to decorate my home to give it that lovely woman’s touch. I started doing research on Pinterest and just kind of started looking at what my friends were doing and I think I am finally getting there.
Fall is my favorite time of the year, and I really like my house to look festive during the holidays, so here is how I am learning to decorate your home for fall. Thanks to Oriental Trading for sending me a few items to help out with this as well!
The first thing I did was find some cute little pumpkins to sit around the house. I found these at Oriental Trading.
I love them because they are reminders of all the things I am grateful for. I have gotten so many compliments from my friends about my cute little fall additions to my home.
I also picked up a couple of cute decorations from CVS this week while doing my weekly coupon shopping. I think these were 2 for $10 or something like that.
You can also add a touch of interior plants to help add warmth to a room. I found some interior plants online from Gaddy’s that have caught my eye!
I love how easy it is starting to be for me to decorate my home for the fall. Just a few small additions can really dress up a room and make it feel like you actually know what you are doing when you clearly don’t know zilch about decorating!
