This week we have a little visitor over at our home. He is the sweetest boy ever. His name is Toby and he is a toy poodle and BOY is he a handful! He is very loving and he loves to give kisses, but his breath can be a bit on the stanky side (if you know what I mean!)
When I got these treats in to review, I tried to get Tucker to try a Minties breath freshener bone, but he is very weird when it comes to his treats. If it is not in the shape of bacon and smells like bacon, he won’t eat it. But Toby — he loved the Vet IQ Minties.
Minties are made in the USA and are wheat, corn, soy, and gluten free — making them healthy for your doggie!
Because of their unique shape and texture, they are perfect for cleaning a dog’s teeth and freshening his breath.

Now, for Tucker — he is getting old. So when they sent me some Vet IQ Hip & Joint Treats, I decided that this was a good thing. He is getting old — in fact, he will be 9 years old this year.
He has his old man beard going on. And his paws are starting to show gray hair meaning he is showing his age.
The older a dog gets, the more his joints get stiff. These treats are perfect for promoting joint flexibility.
It has a triple action formula that promotes cartilage, joints, and muscles.
These are soft chews so I was able to get him to try this. Like I said — he is pretty particular when it comes to his treats, but he finally ate one of these and now has decided he likes it.

If you have a dog that could use a bit of help in the breath department or aging joints, be sure to give the Vet IQ Products a try.
