I can remember the first time I really listened to Beatles music. I was about 35 years old and on a mission trip with someone from that era and they kept playing it over and over and over again. It was then that he told me that this would always be the music that moves him. So from that day, I started listening from time to time and found myself tapping my toes as well. It is good music.
The fun thing though is watching your own kids grow up to the music you grew up on and watching them crank it loud in their vehicles as they jam down the road. I myself, am and 80’s baby — and my kids love 80’s music as well. But my son? He loves all things 60’s and 70’s.
And that is how I came to introduce him to the Beatles.
Now – he is way too old for the new show on Netflix called Beat Bugs, but that doesn’t stop us from singing along as I previewed an episode. We both agreed that for kids who love music, this show is going to be epic for them.
It kind of reminds me of a few of my favorite movies that are now streaming on Netflix — full of amazing soundtracks like —
~Back to the Future
Yeah — you see where I am going with this right?
Be sure to check out the new Netflix show Beat Bugs and listen to some icon Beatles music. As one of the other bloggers on the #StreamTeam said — it’s like Little Einstein but with Beatles tunes.
