Since I have been trying really hard to eat better, exercise and take care of my body, I have also decided to add probiotics to the mix. Everyone I have talked to has said that this is an important step in your healthy living lifestyle.
I did a lot of research and found that there are three ways you can actually up the intake of probiotics in your diet.
3 Ways to Add Probiotics to Your Daily Health Regimen
1. Taking a Daily Probiotic
Since I found out that one of the best ways is by taking an actual daily probiotic, I headed to Walmart to see what they had available for me to try.
Walmart has such a great selection of Nature Made® vitamins and probiotics and they have every day savings making it easy for me to find exactly what I need. I don’t even have to wait for a sale.
While I was there, I picked up a box of Nature Made® Probiotics. I have been taking the vitamins for a very long time and Nature Made® is a brand name that I know I can trust.
They offer such a wide variety that helps fill in the gaps where you may be missing an important vitamin or nutrient. For example, for me, I take Melatonin at night to help support my sleep. I also take an Energy Metabolism vitamin, a multi-vitamon and there are SO many more available for all women’s health.
Nature Made® is the #1 vitamin supplement brand.
Nature Made® Probiotics: Nature Made® Advanced Dual Action Probiotic has been clinically studied and provides dual support to both your small and large intestine for comprehensive coverage to help support digestive balance and healthy gut flora.†
Nature Made® vitamins and supplements: An easy, convenient way to help your body get the nutritional support it needs every day, whether it be to support bone health, immune health or energy metabolism (helping convert food into energy).†
I love that they offer me such an easy way to get those probiotics in my body. The reason that they are so important is because they fight the bad bacteria in your body.
Another great way to get probiotics is by eating yogurt. It has active cultures in it which aid in digestion and add all the good bacteria back into your gut.
3. The Food You Eat
There are all kinds of great foods you can eat that will also add probiotics to your diet — things like pickles, soft cheeses, kefir, miso soup, sauerkraut and more. Now, numbers two and 3 are great, but for me, I would much rather just take a pill — wouldn’t you??
