I am falling in love with Prince Edward Island (or PEI as the locals call it). It’s not because I have visited there, although now it is on my bucket list to go there. It is because one of my all time favorite authors, Liz Johnson, has made me fall in love with it through her Prince Edward Island novels. Her newest one, Where Two Hearts Meet, melted my heart even more.
I have been a long time fan of Liz Johnson and her writing. She just has a way of bringing the characters to life in the story, and she makes you fall in love with the area she happens to be writing about.
I read the first book in the series a while back, Red Door Inn, and immediately wanted to be at that Bed and breakfast. I wanted to walk in and see Marie and Seth and visit Aretha’s antique shop.
That is the beauty of a great writer. They know how to draw you into a story. And with any of Liz’s books– that is exactly what you are going to get.
In her latest installment of the Prince Edward Island books, we get to meet Caden Holt. She is the executive chef at the Red Door Inn and I totally relate to her on so many levels.
She is unsure of her calling but she knows one thing–she loves food and she loves to make people smile through her food.
Then we meet Adam and with every bite of her cinnamon rolls and coffee, I fall more head over heels in love with their chemistry.
This book warmed my heart through and through on every page. I could not put it down and I am already looking forward to the next installment of this series.
If you love to read, be sure to grab a copy of Liz’s books for this series — Red Door Inn and Where Two Hearts Meet. You will be transported. You will WANT to go to visit PEI — and like me, you will want to have coffee and cinnamon rolls just like Adam.
I love books that escort me away on an adventure somewhere and this one will do just that.
