My recipe for a Berry Smoothie with a banana twist has been sponsored by Premier Protein. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
My daughter and I have been working hard at eating right, exercising more, and trying to change our overall health. We even got my husband on board! However, I am not going to lie to you. The sweet tooth that rages through this family has been rearing its ugly head around here. But — I think I found a solution. Premier Protein Bananas & Cream shakes.
I was recently introduced to Premier Protein and have found their shakes to be superior to others out there. They have a whopping 30g of protein with only 1g of sugar!
(Plus they’re ready to drink, so if I’m crunched for time–which seems like always these days–I can grab one straight out of the fridge and start sipping).
I have been using these to not only get the intake of protein that I need, but the delicious flavor hits the spot and satisfies my cravings for something sweet.
I love bananas so I knew I was going to love this flavor of Bananas & Cream.
Right now Costco is offering $5 off their 18 packs through August 17th! This is a great time to stock up on these 18 packs! They have SO many flavors. I cannot wait to try them all.
Not only are these shakes great to drink on their own, but you can make some fantastic recipes like my Berry Smoothie recipe below.
How to Make a Berry Smoothie
- 1/2 cup Premier Protein Bananas & Cream shake
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, cherries)
- 1 frozen banana
- Place all ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass and top with your favorite toppings -- more fruit, granola, etc.
This smoothie will hit the spot every time when you have the craving of something sweet. Or — if you don’t want a smoothie, just drink one of the Premier Protein shakes. It will hit the spot either way.
Don’t forget to head to your local Costco and grab some of those 18 packs of Premier Protein shakes. Which flavor will you choose?
