When you are a blogger, conferences are a great place to connect with other bloggers, as well as brands and do some networking to help you increase sales and get your name out there. There are 3 conferences I am attending this year so I thought I would share them with you here.
3 Blogging Conferences I am Attending in 2017
One of the conferences I am excited about attending this year to help promote Nutrish for Pets is BlogPaws. It is a Pet conference and not only will I be learning some great blogging skills that I plan on putting to use, I will also make some great connections with pet brands.
Tucker loves to be a part of my blog and so does Mittens, so we are hoping to explore some new options there.
BlogPaws 2017, joined once again by Cat Writers Association Annual Conference, will take place at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel May 18 – 20, 2017.
Another conference I am most excited about is BlogHer! It’s being held in Orlando this year and not only am I going to have a great time at this conference, I am going to sneak away for a day and go to Disneyworld — or shopping at the Disney Mall.
I tried to go to BlogHer a couple of years ago but my friend’s husband passed away during our first day there so our time there had to be cut short and I wasn’t able to attend. This year I am going and I am super excited.
Breathe Writers Conference
I am going to finally take myself to a writer’s conference this year too. I tried to go last year, but money fell through and I was not able to go.
I was SO upset, but I decided this year I would save up the money so that I can go and meet other writers like myself and hopefully connect with an agent and a publisher.
At this conference, I plan on learning all I can about writing and how to build my platform better. I really want to make a go of being a novelist.
I love stories and I love telling them to friends and family so I am hoping that this will be the nudge I need to really try this.
Now that you know where I am headed this year for conferences, tell me — where are you going this year?
