This post on 4 morning habits that will help you change the pace of your day is written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own.
If you are anything like I am, you run around like a chicken with your head cut off most days. By organizing my morning and creating morning habits, it not only sets the pace of my day, but it offers me a little routine to keep the crazy at bay.
Here are 4 morning habits I do every day to make sure that happens.
4 Morning Habits That Will Change the Pace of Your Day
#1 Make Breakfast a Priority
I am not a breakfast person. But, I know that in order for me to have energy throughout the day, I need to eat — and that starts with breakfast. I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen in the morning, so I need something fast that will fill me up.
For me, a cup of coffee used to be enough. But the older I get, the more I love the slower pace in the morning, planning my day. I like setting out my planner, along with a glass of my Ginger Infused Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice and a Jimmy Dean® 9oz. Burrito Bowl.
Once my day gets started, it is a rush all day long. I am not joking. Being a full time blogger requires a lot of my time – making recipes, researching places to travel to, photographing recipes, writing posts, planning out my content schedule. That is just my work day.
Don’t get me started on managing my home, and my husband’s business in the process of all of that. Yes – I am a busy woman, so I need a breakfast I can count on that is quick, delicious, and will hit the spot.
Nothing makes me happier in the morning than being able to have a quick breakfast ready for myself in less than 5 minutes.
Jimmy Dean 9oz Breakfast Bowls help me do that with even MORE in them than previous bowls!!
The Jimmy Dean 9oz Bowls are great because they offer me new flavors, with premium ingredients like seasoned red potatoes, delicious specialty sauces, and other unique ingredients like in the Burrito Breakfast Bowl pictured above.
This is a total meal solution that has everything I need in one simple bowl. And the fact that I do not have to mess up any other dishes is a win-win for me.
You can find these Jimmy Dean 9oz Bowls at Albertsons and other retailers. Be sure to grab the coupon link here to save .75 on your next purchase.
These are great to stock up on for those busy mornings when you need to eat, but don’t have a lot of time.
#2 Get Up and Get Dressed
Okay — I will be the first to admit, I am more than capable of lounging in my pajamas all day. But when I do, I don’t look and feel my best hardly at all. So, everyday you need to get up and get yourself completely dressed.
Spending a quick ten minutes to apply some quick makeup, and put together a nice outfit helps you feel your best, and ready to take on the day.
#3 Exercise is Most Important
If you have been following my blog for the last few months, you know that I have been going to the gym and working out and planning a full year of taking care of me.
At first, I was dead set against going. I mean who wants to sweat and exert energy working out? Then, I started seeing the results of it and now? I LOVE going to work out!
The more I work out, the better feel health wise.
Exercising in the morning increases your productivity. It also gets your endorphins moving. This will make you feel more awake and ready to tackle your day. In fact, working out can increase your mental clarity for anywhere from 4 to 10 hours after you finish exercising.
#4 Plan Your Week/Day
I use a planner and spend one whole evening planning my week. This has really helped to cut down on the chaos in our household.
By setting a routine, the pace of my day changes drastically. I am able to really enjoy the day and still have time to get everything done I need to. You will too!
What about you? Is your day super hectic? How do you slow things down?
