We are gearing up to start homeschooling again next week. While I am looking forward to the routine, I will surely miss all that free time I have had this summer to lazy around in the kitchen. I have to get serious again about meal planning and putting good food on the table. My favorite kitchen tool to use during the back to school season is my crockpot, so here are 5 easy crockpot recipes to help with those hectic school nights.
Crockpot Potato Soup
One of my favorite soup recipes is my Crockpot Potato Soup. It is easy to make, cheap on the budget, and can be transported literally anywhere. This would be great to take to any after school function or just to have during the week when your school schedule is hectic.
One thing that I love is when I can throw everything in the pot and make a delicious meal out of it. This Crockpot Beef and Broccoli recipe is perfect for that. When you are tired of Chicken or soup — this is the recipe you want to turn to.
This recipe is great for when you need to use up ingredients in the pantry. I did not think this one would be a very big hit for my family, but they devoured it.
Chicken Taco Soup
If you need a Mexican quick dish, this Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup is great. It’s thick enough it can be eaten with tortilla chips, or if you prefer you can eat it with a spoon. I prefer tortilla chips myself 🙂
If you are in the mood for BBQ, then this is definitely the recipe for you. This is great served with homemade coleslaw and french fries.
Now that you have 5 new crockpot meals to choose from, which one will you make tonight?
