Out of all the things that makes Austin, Texas cool, the food is by far one of the coolest. Whether you’re a junk food lover, a meat eater or a raw vegan, Austin has something for everybody. Here are some of Austin’s most amazing restaurants that are definitely worth a visit.

Yoshi Ramen is the kind of place that after one visit you’ll be searching for a piece of Austin real estate. Specialty ramen restaurants have been popping up across the country, and Austin is no exception. Yoshi Ramen is most known for their “ramen burgers”, which is basically a regular burger but the bun is made out of ramen noodles. It sounds strange but trust me, it’s amazing.

Besides Taco Bell, Taco Ranch is one of the few drive-thru taco joints around. Taco Ranch is like Taco Bell’s cool older cousin, because the food is actually authentic and not terrible for you. If you go, make sure to try the breakfast tacos and the delicious churro brownie (it’s only $1!). Check it out!

TLC specializes in classic comfort food with a seafood twist, which is what makes it a one-of-a-kind dining experience. TLC’s motto is “all y’all ‘r welcome”, and has a reputation for being a friendly neighborhood hangout. The Smoked BBQ Deviled Eggs and the Grilled Asparagus are must-tries, as well as their signature push-up pops (yum!). See the full menu here.
