I participated in a Influencer Activation for Guy Fieri Sausage. I received product samples to facilitate my review and create this delicious sausage recipe as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I love when summer starts to peak it’s head out. As soon as it does, I love to dust off the grill and start making those yummy dishes that I am known for. Of course, I love to bring my food to Flavortown, and to help me out this summer, I have Guy Fieri to thank. His pork and chicken sausages are money!
Because of how easy these sausages are, you can throw together this meal in less than 30 minutes.
So first — let me tell you about the Guy Fieri Sausages. . .
I have been following guy since he appeared on the Food Network Star. The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was going to be something big. I rooted for him all season and when he took home the win, no one cheered more than me.
I love him so much I DVR all of his shows y’all. To say that he is my favorite Food Network personality — is an understatement.
When I was given the opportunity to review his new line of sausages available at Walmart, I jumped at the chance. Why? Because I know how much Guy loves food, and I know how great he cooks, and I know how real fresh ingredients are important to him.
The sausages come in two yummy flavors — Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese Pork Sausages
and Italian Style Sausage.
These sausages have natural casing around them which make them super easy to grill and eat!
It takes about 15 minutes from start to finish for these sausages to get done. While I was cooking these on the grill — giving me time to be outside and enjoy the warm late spring air, my daughter was inside making us some peppers and onions to put on top.
You simply julienne a green pepper and an onion. Place them in a pan with just a bit of olive oil and sautee until they get tender — about 10 15 minutes.
While those were cooking, she was busy making some homemade baked sweet potato fries.
You slice you a sweet potato, drizzle it with olive oil, and then sprinkle on my all purpose seasoning. Then bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. If you like them crispier, then just cook them until you get them to the right doneness to suit you.
Once you get that done, take those delicious sausages off the grill and enjoy a dinner straight from Flavortown!
Out of the two — the Italian sausage was my favorite. It’s full of real Italian flavor — and the Chicken sausages were SO juicy! When you bite into them, the delicious mozzarella cheese just comes oozing out.
Guy Fieri Sausage answers our hunger pangs with punches of flavor promised to take any meal to “Flavortown,” while simultaneously allowing us to spend our evenings outside in the warmer weather, so the next time you are ready to get your grill on, let Guy help you out!
