For History right now, we are doing an Inventor’s Study that we got free somewhere. Last week, we learned about Johannes Gutenberg and the printing press. This week we are learning about Leonardo DaVinci and the Color Wheel.
We got to an experiment today with the primary colors, milk and dish soap. Here is the directions for this experiment:
How to Use Food Coloring to Learn About the Color Wheel
1. Add 1 cup of milk to a bowl.
2. Add 3 drop of red to one side of the bowl, 3 drops of yellow 1/3 of the way over, and 3 drops of blue on the other side.
Once you get the food coloring added, this is what your bowl of milk should look like. Each color should be across from each other, hanging out in the milk.
