A couple of weeks ago, our family took a little trip to LBL–our home away from home. We have passed this place a million times but never stopped before. All I can say is you have to go!
The cost to go play golf here is cheaper than anywhere I have been.
Each person only pays $4 for 18 holes of miniature golf! In most places I have been it costs that much for just 9 holes.
Maggie's Jungle Golf is located at 7301 Us Highway 641 in Gilbertsville, KY. They only accept cash or check. No debit or credit cards allowed, so take note of that before heading here.
Maggie's Jungle Golf
Here you will get to play 18 holes of miniature golf in a jungle setting. It's extremely shaded and has huge fans everywhere so even on days when the weather is sweltering, you will be able to have a great time without sweating to death.
During the summer months, Maggie's can get pretty busy. Our little town becomes a tourist town, and lots of families come to Kentucky Lake to visit.
After playing our 18 holes of golf in which I sorely lost against this fella–
We decided to trek down the jungle trail! This is an area where there are tons of animals that you can visit and feed.
You can rent a golf cart for $8 or you can pay $2 per person and just walk the mile and visit with the animals as you get your exercise for the day!
You can also buy bags of food to feed the animals for .25 cents–which I highly recommend because they LOVE to be fed.
I think Kayla fell in love with the little baby goats. They were adorable.
It was a great day and I am really glad that we went and had such fun! It was an inexpensive way to get out and really enjoy being with my family.

After a day of playing golf, then be sure to head over to Belew's in Aurora! They are one of the best burger joints in Western Kentucky.
