Thanks to Revell Reads for sending me a copy of Over Maya Dead Body. All opinions about this book are 100% mine.
I love love love reading and when I got a copy of Over Maya Dead Body in my hands, I could not put it down. Yes — I know I say that about a lot of books, but y’all. I love to read. And books that make me WANT to read them are the kind that are my absolute favorite to read — like this one.
When I say I can’t put a book down, I mean it. The dishes need to be done, the clothes need to be washed, I need to make dinner — but nothing comes between me and a great book and a large cup of coffee.
About Over Maya Dead Body
FBI Special Agent Serena Jones arrives on Martha’s Vineyard with her family, ready for a little bit of R&R and a whole lot of reminiscing as they celebrate the engagement of an old family friend. But crime doesn’t take a vacation, and she’s soon entangled in an investigation of a suspicious death tied to an antiquities smuggling ring.
When her investigation propels her into danger, Serena must stay the course and solve this case before anyone else dies. But just how is she supposed to do that when the two men in her life arrive on the scene, bringing with them plenty of romantic complications–and even a secret or two?
Jen’s Thoughts About Over Maya Dead Body
I love a fast paced read like this one. It kept me guessing from page 1. There were so many twists and turns. What I really loved was that there was a hint of romance in the pages — a triangle of love — which made for an interesting story within the story.
The suspense level was great with no gore in it (which always makes for a happy read for me). It was not all sweet and loveable, meaning there moments in there that were gut real.
This is an excellent book and I give it 5+ stars. Anyone wanting to dive into Christian suspense novels, then this is a great one to start with.
