I recently took a quiz on PopSugar about who I am based on my eating habits. It was no shock that it came back that I am a mindless muncher. I’m trying Meta Appetite Control, which is clinically proven to help you curb cravings between meals*, to try and break up with these mindless munching habits
The quiz definitely pegged me right — I am a mindless muncher. Food has always been a part of my life. If I am happy, I am eating. If I am on the computer, I am eating. If I am cooking, I am eating. Yes — food is my vice.
Now with the help of Meta Appetite Control, I can get a handle on it. All I have to do is mix up two teaspoons in at least an 8 ounce glass of water and it will definitely help me feel less hungry in between meals.
Here are a few other ways I am getting a handle on this mindless munching I have going on.
Walking instead of Mindless Eating
The first thing I did when I started trying to get into better shape is I started walking more. This has really helped me in setting the pace for trying to lose weight and better my health.
I bought a fitness tracker to help me make sure I get the right amount of steps in every day and to help me keep track of my food intake.
Since taking the Meta Appetite Control, I have found it easier to stay on track when it comes to my eating habits. I am no longer finding myself starving in between meals.
Drinking more water and Meta Appetite Control drinks, incorporating healthy “snacks”, using my food and exercise tracker along with my fitness band has been the key to helping me break up with my snack cravings.
Having to be accountable in my tracker of food and competing with family and friends in daily steps challenges makes me mindful of what I’m eating or craving and why. Before I eat it, I ask myself what’s going on that causes me to want this wonderful piece of pie. I also check to see if I have had enough water, fiber and filling foods throughout the day.
Meta Appetite Control is a fiber supplement from the makers of Metamucil, the #1 doctor recommended fiber brand, so I know that I am getting the right natural psyllium fiber I need.
Learning to eat better and make myself accountable for what I am doing has really helped me a lot. So far I’ve lost 5 lbs and a few inches in some key places — and the waistline is now visible again. I also feel so much better physically and emotionally because I’m not just eating away my emotions.
Getting up and out to walk with my friends or my daughter has also helped keep me focused.
