My Peach Drop Danish recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.
The first time I had these amazing danishes was at a church function we were having. My friend Debbie made them and from the first bite, I have dreamed of making these ever since. She recently gave me her recipe, so I have been super excited to share these Peach Drop Danish cookies with you for #SummerDessertWeek.
When she told me her secret was Jiffy Baking Mix from a very old cookbook she had, I knew there was NO way to find it online. But she loves me, so she gave me a copy for our family.

How to Make Peach Drop Danish Cookies
First, mix together the Jiffy Baking Mix, sugar and butter until it is crumbly.
Add in your milk until a dough forms. Then you are going to drop them by rounded spoonfuls onto your baking sheet.
Create a well in the center of each with the back of a spoon. Now, take your peach jam (or whatever jam or preserves you want to use), and add to the center of the well.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes until the cookies get done. Pull your Peach Drop Danish Cookies from the oven and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes.
Mix up your glaze ingredients and drizzle over the top.
Now – serve them up to your family and enjoy!
- 2 cups of Jiffy Baking Mix
- 1/4 cup of Land O'Lakes butter
- 2 tablespoons of Dixie Crystals Sugar
- 2/3 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of peach jam
- 2/3 cup of Dixie Crystals Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of Adams Extract Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of water
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet, or you can use parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Mix together the baking mix, butter, and sugar until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in milk until the dough forms.; beat 15 strokes with a fork.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto the cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Make a shallow well in the center of each with the back of a spoon. Fill each with 1 teaspoon of jam.
Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
Mix and blend the glaze ingredients together and drizzle over danishes.
