White Water Water Park in Branson, Missouri

Sharing is caring!

We received complimentary admission to White Water as part of a promotional blogger tour of Branson, MO through the US Family Guide. All opinions are 100% my own.

Saturday morning dawned early as we headed to the Keeter Center to enjoy some breakfast and learn a little more about the amazing city of Branson and all it had to offer.

After breakfast, we were cut loose for the mid-morning to mid-afternoon to enjoy a fun filled day at White Water Water Park. Here is everything you need to know to have a fun day at the water park.

Because we have teenagers, we never visit the little kids' sections anymore, but White Water has a spot that those little guys will LOVE! It is filled with all kinds of slides and forts for the kids to run and play in and there are all kinds of chairs sitting around for parents as well.

After checking out the little kids' area, our first stop was to the Wave Pool. Robert wanted to head on in and hang out for a bit, so while he did that, Stephen, Kayla, and I headed to get a locker for our family, because we did not want to tote our stuff ALL over the water park.

You can rent a locker at White Water. They have family-sized lockers ($15) and individual-sized lockers ($6 – we were able to cram all of our stuff into a smaller locker, but it was tight!).

There is a $10 refundable deposit when you rent a locker, so keep that in mind if you are bringing cash.

Once we finished the Wave Pool, my son wanted to try out Kalani Towers and the giant racing slides, so he, my daughter, and myself climbed the long stairs to the top and raced each other down the hill. It was SO fun!

Robert ran back up to attack the Kalani Towers and I hung down at the bottom to get some video.

I love going to places with my teenagers! They make things so fun!!

White Water just opened KaPau Plummet (pronounced Ka-Pow), the park’s biggest thrill to date. Riders start on top of a four-story platform, where they enter the AquaLaunch shoot.

Riders step into a translucent tube, with nothing but a clear drop floor below their feet. After a count of 3-2-1, the floor drops out from beneath them and riders free-fall down a 70-degree plunge and into a 240-foot-long spiraling tube, initially falling at 26 feet per second.

While my daughter and I chickened out on this one, Robert did not. He went right on up with a friend he met and they rode together.

If you want to be sure of a shady place to rest throughout the day, you can rent a cabana. If I were staying the entire day or had a large group, the cabana would be the way to go! They even have flat screen televisions in those cabanas!

White Water also hosts a bunch of fun events throughout the summer, like Night Water, Dive-In Movies, and Red, White and BOOM Fireworks. You can see their special event calendar here.

We had a great time, and loved everything White Water had to offer!
