Zuchinni Noodles Featuring the SuperSwizz Spiral Slicer

June 27, 2014 by Jennifer Sikora 1 Comment

I have gotten to where I am trying my hardest to eat a lighter and healthier these days. For me, I have always loved hearty dishes like pasta, but we all know that too much pasta can ruin a diet. I tried my hand at Spaghetti Squash once and everyone in the family loved it, but when I discovered this new tool called the SuperSwizz Spiral Slicer, I knew I was going to be able to make noodles out of just about anything — especially Zuchinni Noodles.

Zuchinni Spaghetti

SuperSwizz is a spiral slicer that you use like a pencil sharpener. You put the food in one end (there are two different thicknesses to choose from:  2×3 mm and 3.5×5 mm), and you twirl it just like you would if you were sharpening a pencil.  The blades are sturdy Japanese blades and made from Stainless steel.

In the center of the SuperSwizz is a hole.  The very center of the veggie will NOT get cut with the blades which keeps the seeds out. The SuperSwizz comes with a cleaning brush and is dishwasher safe.

This product is one I plan on keeping around for a while and using it on all kins of veggies — cucumbers, carrots, jalapenos and other peppers, parsnips and more.

What are your favorite kind of noodles?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
