Over the past 12 years, I have stocked my kitchen well with some of the best must have items for any kitchen. These are appliances and gadgets that I just cannot live without. They make my life as a cook and baker so much easier.
Do you have any of these items in your kitchen? If not, and you are serious about cooking — you need to start making a plan and a wish list to grab these.
1. Ninja Nutri Ninja Duo BL642 Auto iQ Blender
I own this blender. I got it last year and I have to tell you that I retired my old blender AND my food processor once I got the Ninja. This blender is so high powered it does every single thing I need it to. I use it for smoothies, salsas, soups, sauces, and more.
It is one of the most versatile items I have ever owned — and I love it.
2.Keurig® 2.0 K350 Brewer
I am the only one in my home who drinks coffee, so the Keurig is MY go to item. I love that I can brew my cup of coffee in minutes and at any time of day. The carafe is nice for when I have friends over too!
3. Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 11 Piece Cookware Set
Hear me out — DO NOT buy a junk set of cookware. I used to own a set that cost me about $50 when I first got married and thought it was great until I got a REAL set of cookware one year for Christmas. There is NO comparison. You need to make sure you get a set like this Calphalon set from Macy’s. I LOVE this set.
4. Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast Iron 3.5 Qt. Round French Oven
Last year for Christmas, my family got me one of these amazing Dutch Ovens. If you want to take your roasts and soups to a whole new level of flavor — seriously — get one of these. My life has never been the same. I own the Lodge Logic brand, but LeCreuset is also a favorite brand.
5. Kitchenaid 5qt Artisan Stand Mixer
For years I begged for one of these high dollar mixers. Finally after about 7 years, my family surprised me one year for Christmas and got it for me. It was one of the BEST purchases we have ever made.
I can knead breads without killing myself, my cakes come out more amazing, and I just love Kitchenaid.
