My daughter has to be one of the craftiest people I know. She made this gorgeous DIY Wooden Snowman so I am sharing with you exactly how she did it.
I love that her creativity has no bounds, like baking a cake like no other. She can draw spectacular drawings. Not only that, but she makes crafts like her light bulb Christmas Ornaments.
So let me show you how this cool snowman came to be.

How to Make a DIY Snowman
Earlier this year, we attended a wedding where the tables were decorated with pieces of wood from a tree.
After the wedding, the mother of the bride gave them all to my daughter because she knows she loves art.

Yes — my daughter made this wedding cake! The base of the cake is sitting on the wood pieces that she gave her.
Kayla took some of those pieces and created this gorgeous DIY Wooden Snowman.
To make this, you will need 3 pieces . Make sure to have the right proportions on each one for a snowman.
To connect them, use a piece of 1×2 for the back. To attach it, you need 1 1/2″ drywall or wood screws and screw each piece onto the wood slat.

Use an old limb to create the arms. For the hat, use a couple of old square scraps of wood. Nail them together to create a cute little hat for the snowman.

Now it's time to paint it. The top hat will be black paint and the snowman body is white paint.
Use basic acrylic water paint. Be sure to spray it with a coat of clear coating when done. When it rains, it won't wash it off.

After the coats of paint dry, paint his face. Now, let him dry and place him in the yard. He makes THE perfect Christmas wood decoration for outside.

She has had this snowman on her mind since Thanksgiving and finally got it made. It turned out SO cute and I love how creative she is.
What is your favorite Christmas decoration?

I thought that would be more complicated than it is. I may just have to give it a go. IT would be cute here.

This is the most adorable DIY craft idea, I think this would be a fun family idea to do together. The snowman almost looks rustic too, which is something I love!
