Kayla and I was in the kitchen last week baking up a storm for some recipes we needed to post. In the middle of all of it, we created a delicious recipe for Easter Bark. It’s the most simplistic recipe you will ever make and takes minutes to throw together.
You need just a few ingredients — melting chocolate for your bark, sprinkles, dried cranberries, Nuts(optional), and of course those gorgeous springtime Nestle Toll House Seasonal Morsels. That is what makes your bark so very Easter looking!
Start by melting your melting chocolate. We always use the Almond Bark from the store because it hardens easily and makes a great base.
Once you get it melted (in the microwave in 30 second increments until it is melted, spread it out on a sheet pan using a spoon or spatula.
After you get your chocolate spread, now the fun really happens. Sprinkle on your chips, nuts, seeds, dried cranberries, sprinkles — whatever you want on your bark. Then place it in a freezer for about 10 minutes to let it harden.
Once it is completely dry and hardened, remove it from the refrigerator and lift off cookie sheet. Then break it into individual pieces and store in an air tight container.
This is one of our favorite desserts that is quick and easy to fix.
it would be cute to serve this outside on a table decorated with unique Easter outdoor decorations.
Here are some other bark recipes I have made in the past —
