I am still working on cleaning my pantry out since before vacation time. Do you ever just keep buying and buying groceries until you have NOWHERE to put anything anymore? Yeah — that is pretty much what I have going on right now. The good thing about that is, I can pretty much make any kind of meal just from a few odds and ends I find in the fridge and pantry — like this meal for French Bread Pizza.
These make for a very quick supper and if you use my homemade pizza sauce recipe — literally pennies on the budget!
- 1 loaf French Bread
- Pizza or Spaghetti, homemade or store bought
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Desired Toppings
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Line baking sheet with foil or parchment paper(for easy clean up)
- Slice bread into half and then into 4th’s.
- Spread with sauce.
- Top with cheese and desired toppings.
- Bake for 10 minutes
This is one of the best meals I have ever made. Usually I fix it with a side of roasted broccoli and a salad.
What is your favorite pizza meal?
