Sharing is caring!

This guide to eating in Miami Beach has all the must-try foods and where to find them!

Miami Beach is world-renowned for its vibrant nightlife, unique architecture, and culinary fusions. These features and its natural beauty make it a hot spot for beach-ready vacationers interested in catching some rays and enjoying the local flavors.

Deciding where to eat is the most stressful factor in planning a Florida trip. With so many incredible restaurants, how will you ever narrow down the options?

Here's a helpful guide to eating in Miami Beach, including the must-try foods and where to find them.

Where to Eat in Miami Beach

If you're putting together a Miami Beach itinerary, you won't want to leave without trying these hot eats. Of course if you cannot get to the restaurant, you can order out. Here's to online ordering for restaurants.

RED South Beach

According to Dish Miami, RED South Beach is a steak lover's paradise. This Miami Beach staple has held the title of the best steakhouse in South Beach for decades. Choose from a variety of cuts, including melt-in-your-mouth Miyazaki Wagyu. Pair it with a discounted bottle of your favorite vino on Wine Wednesday for a significant discount on premium bottles of wine.

While the turf is delicious, the surf is also sublime. RED South Beach has everything from king crab legs to beluga caviar, as well the basics like calamari and mussels. Pair your delicious meal with wild mushrooms or macaroni and cheese for a satisfying feast.

Casa Isola

The culinary scene at Miami Beach is diverse, with influences from Latin America, the Mediterranean, and the Jewish culture. These diverse styles come together for a truly unique dining experience.

Casa Isola captures the Mediterranean vibe, bringing delicious, authentic Italian delights with a dash of Brooklyn to the table. Stop in at happy hour for a drink and some quick bites, like baked clams or a meatball parm slider. At dinner time, Chefs Santo Agnello and Jose Mendin serve up carpaccio, pappardelle, and parmigiana, made from the freshest ingredients.

Lilikoi Organic Living

For something a little different, try Lilikoi Organic Living. This crisp, welcoming establishment offers seasonal delights made from fresh, local ingredients. Quality is everything at Lilikoi, offering you healthy, sustainable eats without sacrificing flavor.

Lilikoi covers every meal and serves brunch all day long. They're known for sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as heavier fare for dinnertime. Seafood lovers will enjoy the Grilled Fresh Catch with mung bean stew and chimichurri. The Chicken Chipotle Burrito is as delicious as it sounds, with caramelized onions and a flavorful aioli.

Vegan and vegetarian eaters will also find a wide variety of options on the menu.

Lobster Shack

It's not a trip to Miami Beach without a visit to Lobster Shack for some Maine lobster. This is a favorite among tourists traveling South for the winter and locals who enjoy quality lobster.

Don't let the name fool you; the Lobster Shack is anything but a shack. You can get pretty much any seafood your heart desires: lobster rolls, fish tacos, shrimp, clams, and more. There are several options for those who don't love seafood, including their Florida-famous hot dog, cheeseburgers, and Elvis's favorite Toasty PB+J With Banana for the kids.

CJ's Crab Shack

Most locals avoid Ocean Drive, which tends to be an overpriced tourist trap. However, CJ's Crab Shack is perhaps the one restaurant that makes a venture down this tourist-heavy track worthwhile. This family-owned business is the perfect blend of Miami-meets-Mediterranean, opened by Granny Jewel and Grandaddy Gus when they immigrated from Greece.

Don't leave without trying the Drunken Shrimp appetizer, the Seafood Pasta, or the incredible Grouper in a Bag. If you prefer turf over surf, there are several steak and chicken dishes to choose from as well.

If you're putting together a Miami Beach itinerary, you won't want to leave without trying these hot eats. Of course if you cannot get to the restaurant, you can order out. Here's to online ordering for restaurants.
