We received one complimentary night of stay at the Hampton Inn I-385 in Greenville, South Carolina in exchange for writing this review. All opinions listed are 100% my own.
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I took a trip to Greenville, South Carolina to attend the 212 Leadership conference put on by Redemption Church. It was a much needed refreshing weekend where we spent quality time together just enjoying our married life. Believe me when I say that if you are a married couple — time away is crucial.
While we were there, we stayed in the Hampton Inn I-385 hotel. I have always been a fan of the Hampton Inn hotels, but this one pretty much blew me away.
Here are 3 things I loved about the Hampton Inn I-385.
The first thing that really just blew me away was how nice all the staff was. Not once was I met with an unkind face, a grumpy Gus or anything. Everyone was genuinely sincere and wanted us to have a great time. They asked me about the conference and carried on conversations with us as we came and went each time.
And every single time — they told us they hoped we had a blessed day.
Just blessed my heart!
During the weekdays at the Hampton Inn I-385 — they offer complimentary dinner. One night was Mexican night and they had burritos, tacos, chips and salsa and more. Never before have I ever stayed somewhere where they GAVE me dinner just for staying there.
The cleanliness of the rooms
One thing that will make me fall in love with a hotel is the cleanliness of a room when I stay somewhere. The Hampton Inns I have stayed in have always prided themselves on comfy beds, clean sheets, and clean rooms — and this one was no different. Stephen and I could not get enough of that comfy bed!
And after 8 long hours of driving, being able to just lay down and nap was H-E-A-V-E-N!
Other things I loved about the hotel was the endless supply of coffee 🙂 You know me and my lovely addiction.
In fact, every time that we came in our out. I grabbed a cup of coffee to nurse.
Another thing I loved about this hotel is not only do they offer complimentary dinners, but they also offer complimentary breakfast — every single morning. And — it's not just a cold breakfast either. They offer waffles, eggs with ham, turkey sausage, bagels, biscuits, and more.
The best thing of all that we loved about this hotel is that it is in THE perfect location. There are so many places to shop and eat just within seconds of the hotel, but just a couple of exits down is Redemption Church (took us about 6 minutes every day) and just a couple of more exits down is downtown Greenville — which EVERYONE needs to see (more about that in a later post).
Seriously — if you ever go visit Greenville, South Carolina — make the Hampton Inn I-385 your choice of place to stay. You will NOT be disappointed at all!
