We have been looking for the perfect restaurant-style salsa and I believe we have found it!

The Pioneer Woman Restaurant Style Salsa is about as authentic as it comes and it makes a HUGE batch.

It is very simple and easy to make and is perfect for your next Mexican fiesta. If you are like us, we snack on it pretty much every day.

We love having Mexican in our home at least once a week. I make a huge batch of this salsa as well as the cheese dip.

Pioneer Woman Restaurant Style Salsa

Pioneer Woman Restaurant Style Salsa

Easy salsa recipe that tastes just like the restaurant version.

Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 can, 28 Ounce Whole Tomatoes With Juice
  • 2 cans, 10 Ounce Rotel (diced Tomatoes And Green Chilies)
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Quartered And Sliced Thin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro, more To Taste!
  • 1/2 whole Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine whole tomatoes, Rotel, onion, jalapeno, garlic, sugar, salt, cumin, lime juice, and cilantro in a blender or food processor. Pulse until you get the salsa to the consistency you'd like. Test seasonings with a tortilla chip and adjust as needed.
  2. Refrigerate salsa for at least an hour.

I did make the salsa but used cubed tomatoes instead of whole..it was really good...illmake it often now..everyone loved it...

I am pretty sure it can be canned. A water bath can is all it would need.
