How to Easily Say I Love You to Your Significant Other

Sharing is caring!

When it comes to pleasing your significant other, you know that there are many ways that you could accomplish this. When it comes down to it, it's just a matter of putting a little effort into it to show that person that you love them. Many people think that it takes jumping through hoops to please their significant other, but really, it doesn't have to be that complicated.

A lot of relationships end because a person is just not feeling or seeing the love in the relationship that once was there. If you're experiencing that, you first need to know that you're not alone.

Many couples face this at one point in their relationship and have to deal with it head-on. In order to make your relationship survive, you simply have to show that person that you still care, and again, this will take a little effort.

You have to decide that you're not going to let the relationship end and that you need to make a change. If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. So, here's how to show that person that you love them in an easy way.

Take a Trip to Kick Things Off

First, taking trips is always a good idea in the relationship. This offers a change in scenery and a new outlook on life. No, you don't have to consider going to the best Greek islands for couples right off the bat, although that would be a great idea. For starters, head to a destination that is slightly nearby and do something fun and adventurous with them. This will show them that you love them and want to keep the relationship fresh and loving.

Begin to Be More Verbal About Your Feelings

Next, get a little more verbal about your feelings for your significant other. Many people just need to hear that you love them in order for them to know and feel it. If you're not the kind to easily express how you feel, begin by doing it through text messages or letters. Communication is never a bad route to take when trying to restore or keep love in a relationship.

Initiate Some Surprises in the Relationship

Now that the spark is beginning to return and the love is boiling, it's time for some surprises. Again, this doesn't have to be anything big. Consider bringing home flowers or purchasing something nice for them and giving it to them when they come home from work. Even a simple surprise gift on a weekend, such as a $100 bill, in order for your significant other to buy something nice is a great technique. It just shows the love and keeps the relationship fresh.

Take Some Date Nights

After doing all of this, you'll now want to create some habits in the relationship. The love that you're showing and creating has to be cultivated and fed, so consider creating a routine pattern n the relationship that is also different every time. This is why many people are doing date nights. Try different restaurants, and make this a ritual in the relationship at least every two weeks. Ride bumper cars, go to a carnival, have a picnic or anything like this. Get creative, but think simple.

Now Listen and Respond on a Daily Basis

Last, you'll also want to create healthy habits in the relationship for every day. Now that you're becoming a better communicator, learn to listen better as well. There is nothing that makes a person feel more special than being listened to and then responded to. Really listen, don't just nod and give half-hearted signs that you're listening. Ask your significant other follow-up questions and offer opinions to what they're telling you. These are sure signs that you've been listening.

These are simple techniques to show that person that you indeed love them and to put the relationship back on track. Remember, you don't have to go big or go home but bring the simple things back to the relationship. These are the characteristics that brought in the love in the first place.
