Thanks to Netflix for sponsoring this post. If you have no idea what to do on New Year's Eve, try making this delicious easy Champagne Mocktail while watching King Julien on Netflix.
I don't know about you, but I love ringing in the New Year with my family. In the past we have made all kinds of foods, played board games, and we have even went bowling! This year, we plan on partying with some friends, but if you have kids — then they might want to party with my good friend King Julien.
Now on Netflix, King Julien is hosting his very own kid-sized countdown special that you and your family can use to celebrate, no matter the time of day.
And if your New Year's Eve countdown is closer to 7 p.m. than midnight, you're not alone. According to a recent survey from Netflix, a third of parents (34%) admitted they either had or planned to start the party early and fool their kids into thinking its midnight long before the ball drops.
After you put the kids to bed, snuggle up with hubby for a movie and this delicious sparkling Champagne Mocktail!

- 1 part sparkling grapefruit sparkling water
- 1 part gingerale

- Make sure that all your beverages are chilled. Mix equal parts in a shaker and shake up. Pour into champagne glasses and then add 2-3 frozen grapes. Enjoy!
