I am an ambassador for Nutrish for Cats and am being compensated for my time in sharing with you about this amazing and wonderful cat food. All opinions are 100% mine.
Last year when I went to the Type A parent conference, I met some of the folks who work with the Nutrish brand pet food. Before I met them, I had only read about the product, but after meeting them, I really fell in love with everything that Rachael and her team do to make my pets health and wellness important.
This week, to help celebrate the new cat food line, Miss Mittens is going to be taking over my blog. She will be sharing ALL my posts from her kitty point of view, as well as sharing some coupons, and valuable info about the Nutrish for Cats line of cat food.
About our little Mittens
Mittens is a rescue kitty. We found her at 8 weeks old hiding under our hosta bush in the blazing 100 degree heat after coming home from vacation. Her tail was broken, her face was scratched up, she was malnourished, and pretty sure she was dehydrated. She was an extremely sad case and we could tell that someone had thrown her from their moving car.
My daughter, being the animal lover that she is, nursed her back to health. I will let Mittens tell you her full story this week — since her 1 year anniversary with our family is coming up.
Why Mittens and I Love Nutrish for Cats
For the longest time, I always bought whatever cat or dog food was on sale and whatever was the cheapest. It never occurred to me to look at the ingredients to see what I was feeding my fur babies. That was, until Nutrish showed me that I can feed my cat REAL food without having to pay that premium cat food price.
Nutrish takes great care in finding delicious ingredients that means my kitty is getting the nutrients she deserves 🙂
Working with a team of pet nutrition experts, Rachael Ray created new Rachael Ray Nutrish® Natural Food for Cats. Made with simple, wholesome ingredients, each meal is inspired by tasty recipes from Rachael’s own kitchen. Real meat, like fish or chicken is always the number one ingredient in Rachael Ray Nutrish for Cats. There’s never any junk like meat by-products, artificial flavors or preservatives. Just a simple, great taste your cat will love.
Look for delicious Chicken & Brown Rice or Salmon & Brown Rice dry recipes or any of our tasty wet recipes in flavors like Chicken Purrcata, Ocean Fish-A-Licious, Lip Smackin’ Sardine & Mackerel, Tuna Purrfection, Ocean Fish & Chicken Catch-iatore and Paw Lickin’ Chicken & Liver — all available where you currently shop for your family’s groceries.
When I found out that Rachael loves rescue pets, I knew that she and I were kindred spirits. She has her own organization, Rachael's Rescue and proceeds from the sales of Nutrish go to help those animals in need. To date, $6 million in proceeds have gone toward food, medical supplies and treatments for animals in need. Many more shelters around the country need help, and through Rachael's Rescue, together we can make a difference in the lives of many four-legged friends.
Nutrish for Cats comes in both wet and dry blends
