What to do during your Orlando Florida Spring Break

Sharing is caring!

For an exciting spring break, Orlando, in Central Florida, takes some beating. After a day at its amazing theme parks and attractions, visitors can enjoy a vibrant nightlife, with fantastic shows, cocktail bars and nightclubs for partying.

You could spend a week there on a CLC World free holiday, by attending a 90-minute presentation at one of the UK's four CLC World Travel Centres.

Theme Parks and Wild Rides

By day, Orlando has a dozen of the world's top theme parks to choose from.

Those theme parks include Disney World, Universal Studios, with its Hollywood-inspired attractions, Hollywood Studios, with stunts and special effects shows, and the science and technology-themed Epcot.

Action for Thrillseekers

For outdoor activities during your spring break, Orlando has a wealth of choice, from airboat tours of the Everglades to zip-wiring over alligator swamps at Gatorland.

Try skydiving at iFLY Orlando Indoor Skydiving or learn to wakeboard or water ski at the Orlando Watersports Complex.

Amazing Shopping and Entertainment

As the evening draws in, Orlando has several huge entertainment and shopping complexes. On International Drive, you'll find Pointe Orlando and ICON Park. Ride on the ICON observation wheel for fantastic city views. Universal City Walk has restaurants, shops, and cinemas, and the Amway Center hosts musical acts, nightclubs, and lounges.

For some of the biggest names in live entertainment, head to The Orlando Improv, where two long-standing popular shows take place:  the Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group.

Fantastic Food & Delicious Drinks

Between February and May during an Orlando spring break 2019, you can sample all kinds of delicious international street food at SeaWorld's Seven Seas Food Festival, accompanied by live performances and music.

Expect to find an amazing choice of dishes, from Peking Duck and steamed pork buns to Jambalaya and Shrimp Po Boy, Jamaican goat curry or New England lobster rolls.

Don't miss the city's first true cocktail bar The Courtesy, an intimate space with a seasonally changing cocktail menu. For authentic southern hospitality try The Ravenous Pig, known for its adventurous cocktails and home-brewed ales. La Cava del Tequila, inside the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot, has the city's largest selection of tequilas and authentic Mexican spirits. For fantastic views and a tropical vibe head to the rooftop bar, Latitudes, and for the largest frozen daiquiri party in town, try Chillers.

Craft beer enthusiasts will enjoy Orlando Brewing, and to experience the city's coolest venue, head to ICEBAR Orlando, kept at a below-freezing temperature with a bar carved from ice. If you haven't packed your thermals, don't worry, you can enjoy a full menu and take to the dance floor in the warmer room next door.

Night Clubs

During your Orlando spring break 2019, why not party at The Beacham, Orlando's oldest venue with two floors of dancers and DJs? Tier Nightclub has balconies overlooking the dance floor, while Aero is Orlando’s premier rooftop club.

The Independent Bar is an unassuming hipster hangout where the music is as eclectic as the crowd. For steampunk, try The Edison, with burlesque dancers at the weekends.

All this is just a taste of what's on offer during an Orlando spring break 2019 – to find out more you'll just have to go there yourself!
