Paula Deen’s Grilled Potatoes

Sharing is caring!

This past week I tried my hand at making Paula Deen's Grilled Potatoes. We were having her yummy Puff Pastry Burgers, and I wanted a potato side dish to go with them, so I tried my hand at making these and they turned out delicious!

These potatoes are so delicious and can be cooked on a grill, the Blackstone Griddle, or even in your own home in a cast iron pan. But for this recipe, we decided to grill them as Paula does.

Read on to learn how to make this delicious and easy grilled side dish.

These potatoes taste great sprinkled with Paula Deen's House Seasoning mix, which I keep on hand all the time. It is SO easy to make!

How to Make Paula Deen Grilled Potatoes

This recipe is super simple to make. Simply slice your potatoes about 1/4″ or if you like them thicker, 1/2″ and then toss them with some olive oil and your favorite seasoning blend. Then, just throw them on the grill!

If you prefer your potatoes to be all over crusty like mine instead of just grill marks, you can use a grill mat. These are great when you want to get that even cook all over. If you don't have one, you can just place them straight onto the grill.

Then, just keep turning the potatoes ever so often until they are tender all the way through and toasted to your doneness.

You can serve these potatoes alongside a delicious grilled steak and my Pioneer Woman Lemon Bars for dessert.

When I first started cooking years ago, my inspiration for getting in the kitchen began with two people — Julia Child and Paula Deen. Over the years, I have made a ton of her recipes, including this Paula Deen Chocolate Sheet Cake.
