I love visiting Florida. There is just something romantic and breathtaking about this wonderful place. The beautfiul beaches, the nightlife, the relaxation — it all just screams vacation to me. I am SO ready to plan and discover a new place to visit — Gulf County. Why not Come visit GCFL with me?
My husband and I have been planning this amazing vacation that we hope to take as a family some time later this year — after all the business of the summer is over. We are not one to take vacations in June or July. We like to wait until September, after everyone goes back to school. This way, our family can really enjoy time together.
Things we plan on doing
After checking out the site, one of the things I am really excited about is the pet friendly beaches. I usually don't go anywhere that I can't take my sweet little chihuahua, so to know that they have these beaches that will allow me to bring my dog makes me totally happy!
Now to find my beach chair . . .
- Shell hunting — My daughter loves to collect sea shells. She has always loved doing that, so we plan on spending the day trying to find all the unique shells we can and then she is going to turn them into some kind of work of art for us to hang in the house.
- Freshwater fishing — my husband and son are big into bass fishing, so as soon as they found out that in Gulf County, we can do some fishing, we are definitely going to do that. Maybe he can finally catch that big 13 pound bass he has been after all of his life.
- Spa days for me! I plan on getting a couple of massages while I am on vacation. This is one of my all time favorite activities. Me time, a massage, and beautiful, relaxing music.

I could totally see myself doing this similar thing through kayaking in Gulf County. Instead of having a guide show us around, we could grab a kayak and hit the open water!
So now that you know a little about what we would do, let me ask you —
What would your favorite thing to do at GCFL be?
