Cheesecake is a favorite for many people all over the world, including me! There are a ton of different styles, but today, I am going to share with you three of the BEST cheesecakes out there.
Of course, before I tell you about those, you need to check out one of my most popular cheesecakes — Cheesecake Factory Key Lime Cheesecake.
It is phenomenal and is super popular for a reason. There is nothing like a key lime cheesecake.
Different types of cheesecake
Once the original cheesecake was perfected, foodies started making their own unique varieties. The most popular is the thick, rich, and dense New York Style and the least well-known is the light and fluffy Japanese Cotton Cheesecake. In between those are the no-bake, original, ricotta, and savory cheesecakes.

Then there are the flavors like strawberry, peanut butter, chocolate, cherry, and dozens more. There is even a birthday cake, key lime, and red velvet cheesecake. The list is endless because almost everything tastes good in cheesecake. So, the answer to what cheesecake is may not be easy to answer. Instead, we will share what we think are the best three cheesecake recipes.
Best cheesecake recipes
Did you know the most expensive cheesecake in the world is sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and looks like a stack of Christmas presents? It costs about $300 and is made from chocolate-flavored cheeses. But you can buy all 33 cheesecake flavors at Cheesecake Factory for just $400 so that is a much better deal. But you can have these three cheesecake recipes for free.
Apple Pie Caramel Cheesecake
This cheesecake is loaded with apple pie filling, caramel sauce, and graham crackers in every bite. So, if you like caramel, apple pie, and cake, this one is for you. From the crunchy spiced crust to the light and creamy whipped cream on top, the apple pie caramel cheesecake is heavenly.
It may sound difficult with four layers, but it is not hard at all. The first layer is just the graham cracker crust with spices and butter. The next layer is the cheesecake with cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and cinnamon. The topping comes next, and you can make it yourself with fresh apples or save time and buy a can of apple pie filling. Then add the whipped cream and enjoy!
If you want to make this recipe even more unique and special, add some chocolate syrup or Nutella. You could also add some baked pecans or walnuts on top. Or why not top it with vanilla ice cream? You can add just about anything on top of this amazing pie, and it will be scrumptious.
Pecan Pie Pumpkin Cheesecake
You may recognize this one because it is the copycat of one of the Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes. It is the perfect dessert for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other day of the year really. With the nuttiness of the pecan pie and the sweet mellow flavor of the pumpkin pie, the pecan pie pumpkin cheesecake has a little bit of everything good.
Start with a buttery sweet graham cracker crust and add a layer of pumpkin cheesecake, which is just cream cheese, sugar, flour, eggs, cream, vanilla, and pumpkin flavors. Refrigerate this for several hours before adding the pecan caramel layer and whipped cream.
In fact, make this dessert even easier using canned pecan pie filling too. Or if you want to make it yourself, mix a pinch of salt with cornstarch and brown sugar. Then, whisk in several egg yolks, cream, and dark corn syrup and simmer on the stove until it is boiling. Take it off the heat and stir in the butter until it is melted. Then gently fold in the pecans.
Peanut Butter Cheesecake with Brownie Bottom
Just looking at this recipe will make you drool and once you see it, you will have to have it. The peanut butter cheesecake with brownie bottom mixes the three favorite sweets: peanut butter, cheesecake, and brownies. Then there is the candy on top that just makes you want to snatch a piece.
What makes this recipe so easy is that you use a package of brownie mix and peanut butter cups already made. First, combine the brownie mix following the directions on the package and put the peanut butter cups on top. After that is the peanut butter cheesecake, which is easy as well.
For this, mix cream cheese, eggs, sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla. Spread this on top of the brownie batter and peanut butter cups and bake for about an hour. Next, open the oven door a bit and let it cool for one hour. Then let it cool on a rack for two hours before topping it with melted chocolate and the candy to make it even more delectable.
