Having your camera ready is always a good idea because you never know what might appear alongside the boat.
Very Handicap Accessible
I was a little apprehensive about finding a dolphin cruise that would work for my mother-in-law since she uses a walker. However, the Sail Wild Hearts 53-foot catamaran made her first boat ride a wonderful experience to remember.
I was a little worried when we pulled up because the walk was so long. But if you call in advance, they will have a wheelchair waiting for you to get you from the walkway to the boat.

I spoke with the captain of the boat and explained my mother in law's situation and he assured me that they would get her on the boat.
We were all a little apprehensive, but the crew went above and beyond to make sure that she got on the boat. They were SO patient with her and helped her every step of the way. I knew right then and there that this cruise was special -- that these people were caring and loved helping their passengers to have a great time.
The cruise lasts about 2 hours. If you have more time to spare, you totally should do the Blue Angels Sail. It is a 6-hour cruise that includes enjoying gravity-defying displays of aerial drills. This is done by the world-famous Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s precision flying team.
Tips for Your Sail Wild Hearts Experience
To make the most of your sailing adventure, consider these simple tips:
Dress Comfortably
Wear lightweight, weather-appropriate clothing and bring a light jacket, as temperatures on the water can feel cooler than on land.

Don't Forget Sunscreen
Even on cloudy days, the sun's reflection off the water can be strong.
Bring a Camera
The scenery and sunsets provide incredible photo opportunities.
Arrive Early
Arriving a little before departure allows you to settle in and enjoy the experience from the very beginning.

Relax and Enjoy
The beauty of sailing is slowing down and appreciating the journey rather than rushing to a destination.

This sounded like a wonderful cruise. I appreciated how they were able to work with your mother-in-law's limited mobility. And they were prepared for your seasickness, too! Seems that they try to make everyone comfortable, well fed, and entertained at all times!
That spoke volumes to me the way they were with my MIL. It blessed our hearts to watch her enjoy her first ever cruise.
That sounds like so much fun. We love harbor cruises in Boston 🙂
Yes. I always try to make sure if I am close to the water that I take one of these cruises.
I was on a sunset/dolphin watching cruise about 15 years ago and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. You just reminded me of how wonderful it was! Maybe next summer we'll take the time to do that again. I love that picture of the dolphin jumping out of the water!
They are simply amazing.
What a great thing to experience and I love your picture of the dolphin. Thank you for sharing your story. I would absolutely love to go on one of these tours.
They are a lot of fun Stacie! You should go on one.
What a fun time. That would be a dream for me seeing dolphins swimming out in their waters, free and happy. Looks like a lovely time!
It was awesome. I cannot wait to go again.
What a fun cruise to go on! I would love to see dolphins out in the ocean like that.
They are an amazing sight to see. We had some playing right out in front of our beach house every day. I loved watching the momma and baby jump together.
I'd love to go on a cruise like this with the family for a day. The price is really good.
The price was the best out there. I don't like the other kind of dolphin boats because they feel cramped, but with this boat there was plenty of room for everyone.
I am SO jealous! I would love to do something like this with my family! I love being on the water and seeing that dolphin would be such a highlight!
If you ever visit the Gulf Shores area, just call and set it up! They are the best fun ever.
That looks like a lot of fun. That's neat that you got to see some dolphins while on the cruise. I've always wanted to go on a cruise. I hope to be able to go on one someday. Sounds like it's a decent price too.
One of these days I am going to go on a big cruise. Hoping that I don't get seasick on that.
That looks so fun! We've never been on a dolphin cruise. I bet the girls will love this.
Kids LOVE these kinds of cruises. The captain even lets the kids drive the boat for a bit and get their picture made.
This would be so fun. I have always wanted to see some dolphins. It is always nice to watch the sunset.
This was fun. If you want up close and personal with dolphins, Sea World lets you feed them and play with them for a small fee. That is always fun as well
It looks like you all had a great time! I bet it was really beautiful out there!
It was gorgeous. The sun beginning to set on the water is breathtaking.
I'm sure my wife would love to do this outdoor activity this weekend. I'm so glad that you had fun!
Thanks Ryan! It would make for a very romantic cruise! You can even rent the boat for a private trip with just the two of you as well.
My kids would love a dolphin cruise! They're huge fans of ocean life!
We saw a ton of jellyfish in the water too. That was really cool to see.
This looks like an amazing cruise, and so reasonable too for just $25. Looks like you had a fab day especially seeing dolphins flying out of the water.
The jumping dolphins are always a sight to see!
This looks like such a fun day trip! I get easy boat sickness so I am not sure if it is for me, but I'd give it a shot with some meds!
Yeah - it's not so bad if you take meds before getting on the boat -- and DON'T go down in the gulley to use the bathroom. That is what did me in for a while, but once I got it under control it was great!
Oh how I wish that I was there on the water right now...looks so relaxing!
It was very relaxing once I got past the sea sickness!
This looks like so much fun! Looks like tons of it was had!
