Old fashioned cornbread dressing - It was not clear what kind of sage you use and where to obtain it. My mother used to make this type of dressing but I can not duplicate it in taste. I think my mom would have used a sage that was local in grocery stores where she used to shop. Can you tell me more about this particular sage? I picked up some ground sage at Safeway and may try it.

The recipe very clearly calls for ground sage - 2 teaspoons and it tells you which step to add it.
