3 Reasons to Visit Sicily

Crystal-Clear Sea and post-card worthy beaches

Sicily tends to be the most amazing and mesmerizing place, particularly for those who love beaches and water sports. I am always talking about how much I love visiting the beach — especially in the winter, so I can only imagine what these beaches look like!

Pristine white sand beaches are the most wonderful thing where you can relax and enjoy a sunbath. Some of the most famous beaches are Taormina, San Lorenzo, Torre Salsa, and many others.

Many hidden caves have also existed where you can visit through boats. Beautiful restaurants near beaches serve fresh seafood to entertain you.

The crystal-clear blue water is the best for snorkeling. As well as, you can also enjoy swimming over there. This place is full of activities that can relax you such as, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, paddle boating, and many others. This is a great reason that can enforce you to visit Sicily.

Archaeological Wonders

Sicily consists of so many historical places that have archeological treasures. These are considered the most beautiful heritage sites according to UNESCO.

Some of the most wonderful and mesmerizing sites are Menfi, Selinunte, Syracuse, and many others. These cultural sites determine the culture of Greeks, Romans, Venetian, and so many others.

These historical places are the perfect combination of architect, traditions as well as heritage. Additionally, honey-hued Baroque towns, Ancient Greek temples, and byzantine castles are also some heritage sites of Sicily.

Food to die for

Anytime I visit a new city, one of my favorite things to do is to hit up all the foodie hot spots.

Sicily leans towards being the best foodie hotspot that serves the varied cuisine. These foods have been influenced by Greek, Norman, Spanish, Turkish, and North Africa.

Some of the most scrumptious and delicious dishes include Artichokes, Figs, cake wrapped in marzipan, and many others. And of course, you will also see local foodie favorites like red prawns, anchovies, sea urchins, octopus, and pine nuts.

Don't Forget The Best Place to Stay!

To sum up, the best way to experience Sicily is to stay in a private villa, because it is a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot with all the desired amenities.
