When you're vacationing along Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast, starting your day with a great breakfast is a must. During our recent trip to Orange Beach, we stopped by one of the area's most popular brunch destinations, Brick & Spoon, and it quickly became one of our favorite breakfast experiences of the trip.

Located on Canal Road in the heart of Orange Beach, this lively restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily in a casual atmosphere with a Southern twist.

The atmosphere was so unique. It wasn't loud or boisterous, but a quiet little place to sit down, enjoy an authentic Gulf Shore Breakfast.

A Brunch Menu Full of Southern Flavor

What makes Brick & Spoon stand out from other breakfast restaurants is its creative menu. While you'll find classic breakfast favorites, the restaurant is known for putting a Southern-inspired spin on traditional dishes.

Their menu features everything from omelets and eggs Benedict to beignets, shrimp and grits, breakfast tacos, and specialty brunch creations.

If you're a fan of sweet breakfasts, don't skip the beignets. Light, fluffy, and dusted with powdered sugar, they're the perfect way to start your meal. The Banana Foster French Toast and pancakes are also popular choices for those craving something sweet.

For savory breakfast lovers, the Shrimp & Grits and Bayou-inspired specialties offer a delicious taste of the Gulf Coast. The Crab Cake Benedict and Killer Creole Omelet are also menu favorites that showcase the restaurant's Louisiana influence.

The Famous Bloody Mary Experience

One thing Brick & Spoon has become known for is its customizable Bloody Mary experience. Guests can create their own unique Bloody Mary with a variety of garnishes and flavors, making it a popular brunch destination for adults looking to enjoy a vacation morning cocktail.

The restaurant's signature Big Spoon Bloody Mary has developed quite a following among locals and visitors alike.

Relaxed Coastal Atmosphere

The atmosphere at Brick & Spoon perfectly matches the laid-back vibe of Orange Beach. The dining room is bright and welcoming, and the staff does an excellent job keeping things moving even during busy breakfast hours.

Whether you're fueling up for a day on the beach or enjoying a leisurely brunch with friends, the restaurant offers a comfortable setting that makes you want to linger a little longer.

Outdoor seating is also available, making it a great option during Alabama's beautiful coastal mornings.

Why We Recommend Brick & Spoon

Orange Beach has no shortage of breakfast spots, but Brick & Spoon manages to stand out thanks to its creative menu, Southern-inspired flavors, and welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to see why both locals and tourists return again and again.

If you're planning a trip to Orange Beach and looking for a memorable breakfast or brunch experience, add Brick & Spoon to your list. Come hungry, order something unique, and don't forget the beignets!
