Disclaimer: I was sent on a press trip to Branson Missouri. All attractions and rooms were provided in exchange for my article regarding that location. All opinions about Branson are my own.
Branson, Missouri is one of the top family destinations in the US. According to Trip Advisor, it is the #19 best destination to visit beating out places like Nashville! It’s a midwest city that offers outdoor adventure, theme parks, family-friendly entertainment, good food, and plenty of places to stay.
My family and I visited several attractions, shows, places to eat and stay in Branson. A hotel on the main Branson Strip that offers plenty of entertainment for families is Grand Country Inn.

The Grand Country Inn has many things to offer onsite. Basically — if you have younger kids, there is really NO reason to leave the property. They offer indoor and outdoor water parks for the kids, 3 different places to eat including real custard ice cream and pizza, 3 different mini-golf courses, a game room, bumper cars, and more.
This hotel is a kid's dream.

Hotel rooms are located in various buildings around the property. For an extra $10 per night, guests can stay in Building #1 which is closest to the water park. We stayed in an outer building in a standard double room. The rooms are pretty basic but clean.
But they do offer upgraded rooms with bunk beds and a private room just for the kiddos!
One of the biggest reasons that parents with kids love to stay at Grand Country Inn is the onsite indoor/outdoor waterpark, Splash Country. We checked it out, and while I have older teenagers, they were not that excited about trying out the water park, but we watched younger kids 14 and under loving it and running around, splashing and having a good time.
It offers a number of waterslides, lazy river, treehouse style climbing area, a dump bucket, and two very large spas. There are a few dry areas with plastic tables and chairs set up, and also a small grill. Towels are provided at the waterparks, but room towels will need to be used if you swim in one of the pools on the property.
In addition to The Mining Company Grill at the water park, there is a daily buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We did not eat of the buffet, but did enjoy fresh custard from the ice cream parlor.
There is also a pizza buffet bar to eat all you can eat or you can order an entire pizza, which is actually the better value for a family. They even offer carryout until 10PM nightly and the pizza parlor is located in the family gaming area.
My favorite part is the free popcorn and birthday cake after 10:00 p.m.
In keeping with local Branson fun theme, Grand Country Music Hall offers daily shows throughout the year. We wanted to catch the Amazing Pets show, but we didn’t get a chance to, however, it was a really popular show because the parking lot was full on the weekend while we were there. We decided to enjoy the family arcade and the indoor black light 3D golf.
The Grand Country Inn offers plenty of opportunities to make lasting family travel memories and a clean place to rest for the night. The property offers very affordable family packages throughout the year. If you get a chance to stop in Grand Country Inn, don’t forget to check out The World’s Largest Banjo.
Also — if you stay on site, the water park is free for the guests, and you get unlimited coffee and sweet tea at each of the buildings on the property.
Another one of my favorite hot spots while here is the onsite fudge factory and old candy store. Literally my family and I sampled and tried so many candies. Fudge, brittle, taffy — you name it and we inhaled it.
Don't forget to pick up your souvenirs in the general store at Grand Country Hall. There is literally something for everyone. Even I found my favorite hat of the day.
If you are heading to Branson, Missouri — be sure to check out the Grand Country Inn. They offer so much for families! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Branson.
Tomorrow, I will be sharing with you about our trip to the World's Largest Toy Museum. You will NOT want to miss that post!

Definitely looks like a fun spot for kids. I passed through Branson once and it was so busy -- very popular place in the summer.
