We received complimentary admission to The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure as part of a promotional blogger tour of Branson, MO through the US Family Guide. All opinions are 100% my own.
My daughter has been in love with butterflies since she was 3 years old. She used to sit on the porch for hours waiting for one to fly down and sit on her so she could stare at its beauty. Fast forward to 13 years later and that love has only grown more and more. That was why I was excited to find out that Branson has a Butterfly Palace — the perfect place for a daughter who loves those gorgeous winged creatures.
Walking Inside the Butterfly Palace
Once you walk inside, you are transported to another place and time — a tropical rain forest filled with frogs, lizards, and beautiful, beautiful butterflies.
We walked in through the gift shop, which is open and full of light, wall hangings, butterfly games, information, and OH so many fun things. The gift shop is where you’ll buy your tickets.
While downstairs, we also tried our luck at getting through the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze. I am proud to say that I did not run into any mirrors because my kids are rock stars at getting through mirror mazes. I almost got tricked a couple of times, but found my way out without any issues.
Next, we made our way up to the next floor to the the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure. Even though I have teens, they had a blast climbing through the bungees and over trees and rocks. I am embarrassed to stay that I got stuck in the ropes (better yet, my purse got stuck) and my son had to come to my rescue).
The Butterfly Habitat
Once we finished all the mazes, we made our way up to the actual butterfly habitat. There were butterflies everywhere. Robert and Stephen walked through pretty quickly, but Kayla loved exploring and even letting butterflies land on her. In fact, she stood still for about 20 minutes just waiting for one to land on her.
That look on her face was worth every single minute we spent here.
This was a wonderful educational, unique experience for her. I loved the fact that it was indoors (which is perfect for my hubby who is very hot natured). If you are headed to Branson, add this to your list of fun attractions you’ll want to see!
