Looking for a quick and easy appetizer? 3 ingredient bbq meatballs will fit the bill! Made in your slow cooker which means hands-free cooking for you!
During the holidays, or anytime we have a potluck or a party to go to, I am always asked to bring one particular thing — my 3 ingredient BBQ Meatballs.
I don't mind because they are simple and easy to make.
This easy recipe makes bbq meatballs with grape jelly as well as bbq sauce. That's it — like I said — simple and easy.
Should I thaw the meatballs before adding them to the crockpot?
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it is a dump and go meaning that nothing has to be thawed.
Simply take the meatballs from the freezer and dump them in the slow cooker. Then add in your bbq sauce and grape jelly.
Turn that sucker on high for 2 hours and stir once or twice during your cooking time and BOOM! Your delicious meatballs are done and everyone will rave over them.
What Other Combinations are there for these Crockpot BBQ Meatballs?
Okay — if bbq sauce is not your thing, you can make other variations of these meatballs.
- The Best Slow Cooker Asian Meatballs
- Slow Cooker Honey Buffalo Meatballs
- Amazing Slow Cooker Teriyaki Meatballs
- Slow Cooker Bourbon Meatballs
- Honey Garlic Meatballs
As you can see, meatballs in the crockpot are versatile and take well to many different flavor combos.
These are the perfect appetizer to take to parties, get-togethers, potluck meals and more.
The grape jelly adds a sweet component while the bbq sauce adds a tangy component.
I used original bbq sauce, but you can change the flavor by using a different bbq sauce as well.
