I don't know if you are anything like me at all, but my freezer is like a black hole when it comes to food. I buy things, freeze them, and then totally forget they are up there. Because of that, my daughter came up with a freezer inventory list that has been SO helpful to me in keeping up with what we have on hand.

Since it has worked so well for me, I thought I would share it with you too! At the end of this post, you will find the link to download a free printable freezer inventory sheet. I hope you enjoy it.

This printable will help you keep track of all of the meals you have in the freezer. In addition, it’ll show you the quantity of each meal so you can replenish when necessary.

The Purpose of a Free Printable Freezer Inventory Sheet

The purpose of this printable is to help you easily track your freezer meals and bulk foods. When you keep track of what you have stored in the freezer, you won't be like me and waste a ton of food.

By freezing meals such as leftovers and freezer foods like my handy freezer breakfast burritos, then that will save you money on your grocery bill and save time in the kitchen — which is what we are all about here.

Freezer Cooking is SO Worth It!

I've been freezer cooking for a while now and I am loving how easy it is to get dinner on the table without all the hassle — especially in the summertime when it is super duper hot.

When you take a day and make several freezer meals to store in the freezer, then you will have a ton of meals planned that you don’t have to cook.

All you will need to do is walk in the door from work or whatever you are doing and pop them in the oven. This is great for those super busy days when you may not have time to cook.

How to Use This Freezer Inventory Printable

Using this freezer inventory printable is easy. For starters, pull every single thing out of your freezer. This is also a good time to wipe everything down and clean it up as you are organizing what you have on hand.

Go through and throw away anything that is expired. Now — with what's left, you are going to write it down on one of the lines. Be sure to include the date you stored it. Doing so will help you easily see if you’ve had the item in your freezer for a while and need to use it soon.

Also — when you buy new things going into the freezer or you are making freezer meals, be sure to add them as well to this list.

With the inventory sheet, I can keep track of what we have stored in our freezer. I just hang it on my fridge and as I use things, I just cross them off the list.
