Homemade White Hot Chocolate Mix

Sharing is caring!

Make your own white hot chocolate mix in just a few minutes with only a handful of ingredients. Now, you can make creamy white hot cocoa all winter long! This stuff is very addictive and tastes even better than regular hot cocoa mix.

This mix makes the perfect gift for the holidays.  Only a mug and hot milk are required, no additional ingredients are needed.

This white hot chocolate pairs well with so many flavor profiles. It is great on its own, of course. It has a rich white chocolate flavor. I love adding a bunch of mini marshmallows to the top. However, you can add some candy cane for a peppermint flavor as well.

What is white hot cocoa made of?

Unlike most cocoas which are made with semisweet chocolate, dark chocolate, or milk chocolate and milk, this version is made of white chocolate and milk. Therefore, it is much sweeter and white in color rather than the classic brown version.

Not only can you give it as a gift, but you can also do like I did and make some white chocolate hot cocoa bombs.

I used white melting chips and bought a silicone mold. I filled the inside with the white chocolate hot cocoa mix and the mini marshmallows. Then I topped it with more white melted chips and fun sprinkles.
