Crockpot Lasagna

Sharing is caring!

One of the easiest meals I have ever prepared is Crockpot Lasagna. When life gets hectic in my house, I pull out my Ninja 3 in 1 crockpot and get dinner ready. It is SUCH a lifesaver — and so are meals you can fix when your day is hectic.

Crockpot Lasagna

The trick to making this meal super quick to put in the crock pot is the type of lasagna noodles you purchase. Get the no boil kind. This way, all you have to do is layer them with your other ingredients.

Normally I take step by step photos when I post a recipe, but for this one I forgot to take step by step photos so hopefully my instructions will be plenty.

Start with your ingredients —

  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pound of ground hamburger meat, cooked and drained
  • 1 box of no boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 large tub of small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 8 ounce bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Start by mixing together in a bowl your cooked hamburger meat and spaghetti sauce and set it aside.

In another bowl, combine your cottage cheese, 1 egg, and parmesan cheese. Mix together and set aside.

Now you are ready to assemble your lasagna.

Start with a little bit of the meat mixture in the bottom of your crock pot. Start adding your lasagna noodles in a single layer.

Top that layer of noodles with a little more meat mixture.

Add in 1/4 of the Cottage cheese mixture and spread it around.

Sprinkle with 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese. Top with another layer of noodles and start all over again from the meat mixture on.

Once you get the ingredients layered, top the lasagna with more mozzarella cheese.

Cover and cook on low for about 2 1/2 -3 hours. Keep and eye on it and check it periodically.

Crockpot Lasagna has always been one of my absolute favorite meals to prepare for my family. It is one of the first things I learned to cook as a wife and has been a long time family recipe in our home.
